SPC 12

It began as a material research project at my live/work space number 12 within a small community investigating the environment of the surrounding land, and how  bodies of nature may interact or relate to its space.  The lens for the recorded documentations are framed at the ground level to capture  the view from the soil's perspective as all those in nature who value its matter.  The narrative to this project has been based upon the history of farming in my ancestry.  With interests in movement as an instinct, I further explore the relationship of dance and farming using improvisational performance, with an emphasis on sound as a signature.  The research has expanded with farming in small spaces and how environmental elements affect the natural growth and healing efforts in biological  material.
